Wayfaring

Finding one’s way, eager to go
Height after height, hills after hills; setting forth, raring to grow
Time flows, fades away; radiant moment, filled with joy

When pretend you’ve reached your goal, clamber changes to descend
Your resilience is what you know to restrain and to prevent
Furrows instigate your strength; rambling on no courage bent, for

Hope is empty without risks; thwarted paths leave you to wish for
flow without falls and walks follow crawls, sights without sighs, gently
moving on along the road; no urge but a meekly forebode

Then pretend you’ve reached at last just a glimpse of future’s past
Oppose to invigorate and relapse to elevate
All that was strained is all that is gained and will shape the frames of faith

Finally, comer he, expanded view that passes through
Then new winds refresh your sense; if accomplished you commence
to pursue as reason why: mindful passing by…
